Been a while since you’ve done any good surfing in Littleton, Colorado? Well your wait is now over! The River Run on the South Platte is now open, according to the Littleton Independent!
Arapahoe County Commissioner Nancy Doty said the project became a reality through the efforts of the South Platte River Working Group. The group membership is made up of individuals representing Englewood, Sheridan, Littleton, Arapahoe County, South Suburban Parks and Recreation District, the Colorado Water Conservation Board, Urban Drainage and Flood Control District and the Army Corps of Engineers. Their proposals create more recreational opportunities along the seven miles of the South Platte River.
River Run includes a playground, pavilion, trailhead and restrooms set along the eastern bank of the river, and opened to the public August 25th, 2016. To see homes for sale near the River Run, click here!
